Promomento’s Sample Policy

Promomento’s Sample Policy changed on June 1, 2024.  Updated policy: 

Qualified Buyers:  We provide samples to registered, qualified buyers who purchase on behalf of companies, organizations, businesses, schools, and other professional or non-profit groups. Due to the occasional misuse of samples, we reserve the right to decline a sample request at our discretion.

We only ship samples to commercial addresses.  We do not ship them to residential addresses or PO boxes.

How to Request a Sample:  You can use the Request A Sample button on the product page.  We will call you to talk live about your sample request before we ship the sample.  You can also request a sample via phone by calling 1-877-628-4646. 

Types of Samples: In most cases our samples are decorated with random logos.  (They are not blank.) 

If you want to see your logo on a product, we offer virtual samples (explained below).

Sample Costs:  When you request a sample, we will charge you for the cost of the sample plus shipping.  Established customers often receive free or discounted samples, and pay only for sample shipping.

Samples are yours to keep.  They are not returnable. (We no longer offer a credit for sample charges on your order.)

Limits on Sample Requests: For a single project/single order, we can provide a sample for your top 1-2 product choices.  If you and your team need multiple samples (for multiple team members) or additional samples (for more than 1-2 products) we will charge you for the samples plus shipping.  We can provide a quote for sample charges if you need one.

Virtual Samples & Speculative Samples

If you want to see your logo on a sample, we offer two options:  Virtual Samples and Speculative Samples. 

A Virtual Sample is a photo image of your logo on the product.  It is typically free or low cost if you provide us with vector artwork. 

A Speculative Sample is your logo physically imprinted on a sample product  Speculative samples are quite costly.  Charges typically include the cost of the product itself, the setup charge, a sample run charge, and shipping charges.

Speculative samples are not returnable.  And the cost to produce a speculative sample is not credited to your actual order, if you decide to purchase the product.  This includes any setup charges that were paid to produce the speculative sample.
